Portrait Mask NecklaceThis Portrait Mask is by Kwakwaka'wakw artist Raymond Shaw. The mask is hand carved in red cedar and painted in red, black, and pale green acrylic. The mask has been finished with black horsehair. While Raymond was carving this mask, he was inspired by an older Portrait mask he had seen. The last image shows Raymond holding the mask. Excluding the horse hair, the mask measures about 12 inches or 30 1 2 centimeters high, 10 inches or 25 1 2 centimeters

The ring is about 1/4 of an inch or 6 millimeters wide
