Sterling Silver Bon Bon Dish by Charles Boyton & Sons, London, 1893. Full CatalogueA lovely sterling silver bon bon dish, fully hallmarked for Charles Boyton & Sons, London, 1893. The base is also stamped with the retailer, 'George Maurice & Co, 48 Piccadilly'. The bon bon dish is extremely attractive with a foliate border and base, and scrolling centre edged with bows to each side. One dish edge appears ever so slightly more curved than the other (please see photographs). Overall the bon bon dish is a very good condition and

most notably to the front right edge where a small section of wood warping can be seen (please see photographs)

The springs function perfectly meaning the chair still rocks smoothly and soundlessly

All other hallmarks to include the jubilee mark remain clearly visible on both pepperettes
