Wilson's Snipe seabird

Wilson's Snipe seabirdOne of my favorite shorebirds chunky and heavily marked.

This wren was very friendly and comfortable seeking out insects and seeds on the ground in our RV yard

So refreshing

Storks and Vultures seem to find each other compatible night-fellows

Such restful blue colors on this tanager

On the way to the historic National Fish Hatchery established in 1889 near Leadville

These beautiful birds were  preserved due to the efforts of a few local people who worked to pass laws to keep the birds from being hunted to extinction

It's sturdy and glossy with a vivid print that'll withstand the microwave and dishwasher

but there were some flowers and bushes already blooming

It takes 3-4 minutes for her crop to empty

This shot pleased me because the sun was to my back and the tree he was sitting on is the national tree of Argentina

but that didn't dampen any of our spirits
