The cool climate and north-facing slopes lend themselves to exceptional Pinot Noir

wood spices and a dried leaf note all wrapped in finely honed gravelly tannins

working in harmony with the natural environment

The wine unfurls quickly building excitement with each sip

but they have six other varieties planted

and the whole lot was left on lees for 11 months before bottling

with smaller quantities of Freisa

This wine reflects the up and coming Shiraz vineyards of the Barossa

a coating of furry ripe tannins and sweet fruit crossing to a savouriness

a dashing mouthfeel and perfectly rendered acidity

with fresh summer berries
