Glamorgan Coastline Bead (Rhosilli - Cardiff Bay) festivalWe are surrounded by fantastic coastline and wanted to represent on a piece of jewellery the shape of the sea meeting the land. We took one piece of coastline from each county by studying maps and reduced it until it could fit perfectly onto a small bead. we used an ivory coloured glass for the base

this colour was used to represent the gentle rolling countryside

Made up of over 7000 islands which are categorised into three main divisions being Luzon

Our Easkey bead is made from purple marble glass and then rolled in silver mica to add some shimmer
