This Cross peen hammer is made from an old forklift tine and a rough cut piece of ash
The scribe starts as a 8 inch long piece of 1/4 inch round steel
After forging they are cleaned of scale
4 1/4 inches (~11cm) by 2 1/2 inches
and lightly coated with beeswax to prevent rusting
This can have a sharp point to use as a candle scribe or a dull point for a hair pin
The result is a one-of-a-kind marking tool that not only performs exceptionally well but also makes a beautiful addition to your tool collection
