'Dark Leaf' R. occidentale web specialThis selected form of R. occidentale, the Western Azalea, has darker leaves and red stems, making it more handsome than the standard leaf color azalea. The flowers are much the same as what is most associated with the species. We propagate this one as we have had customers like the foliage and have asked for it.

In 10  years you can expect the tree to be 25-30 ft tall but only 8-10 ft wide
