Antique Edwardian Albert Chain With Medallion Silver 18ct Gold Gilt oval cutA grand antique Edwardian Albert chain, made up of solid sterling silver curb links, each stamped with a sterling lion mark and gilded in a bright 18ct yellow gold. The curb chain is complete with new clasps and its original T bar, bearing Birmingham hallmarks dating to 1915 and the makers mark G. L. G. A large shield medallion is also suspended from the end of the chain and is hallmarked Birmingham, 1911. The crest is highlighted in a red and blue

The piece is fashioned in gilt metal and is beautifully detailed with ornate engraving and a wonderful Love token at the bottom that can be unscrewed
