We were looking for a water hole and the hike was only supposed to take 1 hour both ways

This painting tells the story of an Aboriginal Health Worker and their generous spirit and kindness towards me during some of my darkest stays in hospital

There were many times I felt like giving up

After visiting the river

such as rocks

It shows his life's journey

but I always held on to the belief that I could do it

with each mountain symbolizing a placement that I successfully completed
