Samspel Sofa, 1956 CustomThe Samspel was first produced in 1956 by AB Record in Bollnas, Sweden. It is one of the finest pieces to be designed by Sweden's design icon of the 20th century: Carl Malmsten, who is responsible for countless classic pieces of upholstered furniture. This example has been reupholstered in genuine sheepskin.

This example has a highly figured wood frames with newly woven papercord seat

This chair was produced by master cabinetmaker Niels Vodder

the sofa is named after the lake in West Zealand where Alfred and his son Guido would often go fishing

This example is upholstered in Pierre Frey's unique mohair velvet

Willadsen was considered the finest cabinetmaker outside of Copenhagen and was responsible for training leading craftsmen including Ejnar Pedersen and Gunnar Iversen
